The Kenwood Excelon Reference, 900 watt amp gives you the extra power and better signal processing for your speakers while still giving you the 500 watts and the additional channel to power the subwoofer. All of the amplifier options are fantastic. If you want to add a subwoofer, choose a 5 channel amplifier. The standard Excelon amplifiers are plenty for most classic car owners. If you want the best Kenwood offers, go with either the 4 or 5 channel Excelon Reference amplifier.

The subwoofer offered in this kit is a Kenwood Excelon 10" loaded enclosure that comes in a low-profile, down-firing box. This enclosure allows you to put a subwoofer in the trunk, face the speaker down, and still have plenty of space and storage. You can throw your car show stuff, groceries, or whatever you want on top of the box without worrying about damaging the woofer. This subwoofer will give you the bass you want for a high-quality stereo system without the booming you hear from the kids at a stoplight. Adding the subwoofer will give you the same, if not better sound quality than a brand new car with a "Premium Audio System."
