In many cases, which speakers you choose depends on whether or not you have an amplifier as the KS speakers do need an amplifier in order to really get what you pay for. In this instance, because an amplifier is included in the kit, you have the freedom to choose between the two. The CS is going to be brighter and more "in your face" while the KS is going to be more smooth, warm, and balanced like many home theater speakers. The KS series speakers are a little bit more expensive, but we recommend upgrading with this kit and we're confident you will like the way they sound.

There are three loaded enclsoures that we offer. The 10" Kicker Comp C is a good qualty subwoofer that will get the job done for most customers. It comes in a truck box to save room in the trunk so that you still have plenty of room for storage. The 10" Comp RT is an upgrade from the Comp C and is also a low-profile woofer. The Comp RT enclosure comes with a passive radiator for increased output but without the port noise that can come from a vented enclosure. Finally, the Kicker Comp RT is offered in a downfiring addition that fits nicely in tight spaces in either the same 10" or a larger 12" model.
