The Kicker 1964-1967 El Camino kick panel speakers are among our best sounding upgraded kick panel speakers. These Kicker 1964-1967 El Camino kick panel speakers come loaded with your choice of the Kicker CS series speakers or the Kicker KS series 6.5" speakers. The CS speakers are more efficient and will play louder if just connected directly to the radio. The KS series speakers feature silk dome tweeters for a warmer, richer sound, but will not play as loud when just connected to the radio, they need an amplifier. The KS speakers are going to be cleaner than the CS, but the CS will be brighter. If you are going to connect the speakers to an amplifier, the KS will sound better, they just
need that extra power to get there.
We have tested many speakers to find something that will fit in the opening without being too deep while still providing great sound. We feel that the Kicker CS and KS series offer outstanding value and sound quality without breaking the bank and/or requiring custom modifications to fit.
Add HushMat Wave Breaker pads for even better sound. The HushMat Wave Breakers simply stick to the body behind the kick panel speakers and eliminiate backwave distortion so that you hear 30-40% more of the music that your speakers are producing. The Wave Breakers will give the effect of a sealed enclosure despite an open-air installation. The HushMat Wave Breaker pads come with peel and stick adhesive and require no special tools for simple, easy installation.
