Upgrade the speakers in your 1973-1997 Porsche 911 with our speaker upgrade kit.
This kit includes the front 5.25" speakers and the rear 4"x6" speakers. Chances are, your original speakers are toast. So why not replace and upgrade? Nothing's better than driving in your 911, windows down, and listening to your favorite song(s).
For the speaker options, none of them are bad. These speakers will not replace the small tweeter that orignially came with your car, but it can be left in place to maintain the look.
Please note: None of the 4x6 speakers come with grilles. Also, the JBL and Kicker KS series 5.25" speakers do not come with grilles either.
- Kicker CS - Probably the "Go-to" if you aren't using an amplifier. These are some of the most popular aftermarket speakers in the world. If you aren't loyal to a specific speaker brand and you aren't using an amplifier, this is the choice. You can't go wrong.
- Kicker KS - A step up over the Kicker CS. These have silk dome tweeters for smooth, richer, warmer, and more balanced output, but they work best with an amplifier
- JBL Stage - Similar to the Kicker CS but they are made by JBL. These are factory upgrade speakers that can be used with or without an amplifier
- JBL Club - An upgrade over the JBL Stage series. These speakers have silk dome tweeters and work well with or without an amplifier.
- Infinity Reference - These are the same as the JBL Club speakers, they just say Infinity instead of "JBL".
- JL Audio C2 - The JL Audio C2 speakers have silk dome tweeters and are efficient. Keep in mind that the rear deck speakers are a 4" speaker that is mounted to a 4"x6" plate that is included. These speakers work well with or without an amplifier and are ideal if you are a JL Audio person.
- Rockford Fosgate Punch - These speakers are efficient and bright. These work well with or without an amplifier. You can't go wrong if you like bright tweeters (I like these).
- Kenwood Excelon - Kenwood Excelon speakers just sound good. You can't go wrong.
