1995-2006 GM Full Size Truck Kicker KS Speaker Package

Our 1995-2006 GM Full Size Truck Kicker KS Speaker Package includes everything you need to replace the speakers in your 1995-2006 GM C/K Series, Silverado, or Sierra truck without hacking up or cutting your original wiring. This kit includes a pair of front, 6.5" speakers, the adapters to fit to the factory mounting location, your choice of 4x6 or 6x9 rear speakers, and the speaker harness adapters which allow you to connect everything without cutting your factory harness. The speaker wire adapters make it very easy to switch back to stock speakers if and when you ever sell your truck.

For the rear speakers, there are two ways to do it. You can use the factory speaker location which is a 4x6 on either side of the truck. The other option is to select larger, 6x9 speakers. With the larger 6x9 speakers, you will have to mount them in 6x9 speaker boxes which we include with that option. The 6x9 boxes will then surface mount wherever you choose. You can put them under the seat if you have a rear seat, simply behind the stock seats if it is a single cab, on top of the rear seat, or any place else that will work for you. The advantage of the 6x9's is that you get larger speakers that will play louder than a 4x6. The disadvantage is that they don't just fit neatly into the stock location

This kit includes the Kicker KS series speakers. The Kicker KS series is Kicker's top of the line speaker offering that will fit these trucks. The KS speakers have silk dome tweeters and a heavier cone than the CS. This just means that they need more power to get going. If you give the KS the power they want, they sound better than the CS. If you are powering the speakers off of your original radio, the CS will probably sound better as they will be brighter, and they lighter cone will give you better mid-bass, even from a lighter, "cheaper" speaker. The Kicker KS speakers might provide the best overall value for sound quality and price point of any speakers we offer, but we do recommend using an amplifier to power them in order to get your money's worth.
