1995-2006 GM Full Size Truck JL Audio C2 Speaker Package

Our 1995-2006 GM Full Size Truck JL Audio C2 Speaker Package includes everything you need to replace the speakers in your 1995-2006 GM C/K Series, Silverado, or Sierra truck without hacking up or cutting your original wiring. This kit includes a pair of front, 6" speakers, the adapters to fit to the factory mounting location, 6x9 rear speakers with speaker enclosures, and the speaker harness adapters which allow you to connect everything without cutting your factory harness. The speaker wire adapters make it very easy to switch back to stock speakers if and when you ever sell your truck.

For the rear speakers, there are two ways to do it. With the larger 6x9 speakers, you will have to mount them in 6x9 speaker boxes which are included. The 6x9 boxes will then surface mount wherever you choose. You can put them under the seat if you have a rear seat, simply behind the stock seats if it is a single cab, on top of the rear seat, or any place else that will work for you. The advantage of the 6x9's is that you get larger speakers that will play louder than a 4x6. The disadvantage is that they don't just fit neatly into the stock location

This kit includes the JL Audio C2 speakers. The JL Audio C2 speakers are pretty efficient and come with silk dome tweeters. The silk dome tweeters will sound richer and smoother compared to the C1. The JL Audio C2 speakers really shine when powered by an external amplifier. They have more power handling than the C1 and the silk dome tweeters give you a different sound than the aluminum tweeters of the C1. The C2 will not play as bright, but you will get richer, warmer, smoother tones when comparing them. The C2 act as great factory replacement speakers. For the money and to get the most out of them, add a JL Audio amplifier to your 1995-2006 GM, full-sized truck.
