The Audison SR 5.600 amplifier uses Class D circuitry to deliver plenty of power for both your speakers and a subwoofer in a compact chassis with an affordable price point. Audison completely redesigned these amplifiers to compete with JL's XD line to deliver more power, at a slightly lower price point, while offering superior signal processing and thermal management.
The Audio SR 5.600 puts out 75 watts to 4 channels at 4 ohms, 115 watts per channel at 2 ohms, and 230 watts to 2 channel when bridged at 4 ohms for the full range channels. For the subwoofer channel, the SR 5.600 puts out 310 watts at 4 ohms and 550 watts at 2 ohms. This type of output is comparable, if not higher, that what you see in most, higher-end, 5 channel car amplifiers. This amp accepts both high and low level inputs and has 12dB/octave variable crossovers between 50 Hz and 3.2 KHz. It offers both high, low, and all pass filters, and has a full-range pre-out if you are using another amplifier.
If you are looking for high output and fanstastic audio quality, the Audison SR 5.600 definitely over delivers for the price point. If you are powering Audison or Hertz speakers and a subwoofer, this is probably our best option. These amps sound great, put out clean sounding power, they are compact for what they are, and they have a sleek, stylish, matte-black finish.
