This High Frequency, GM-style Pulse Generator is the missing piece for your early-GM transmission swap!
It is important to ensure that your ECM is receiving the proper signals for operation. Late-model GM transmissions would output 128,000 pulses per mile, causing the stock 40-tooth reluctor ring to provide the factory ECM with a high frequency input. With this sensor, this missing high frequency rate can be recreated when converting to an older style transmission with a mechanical speedometer output.
This generator features a standard female 7/8" thead-on fitting and fits all GM transmissions with mechanical speedometer cable outputs. The 10’ cable is removable, weather tight, and makes installation and cable routing simple. 128,000 pulse per mile sine wave signal output is a direct replacement for stock GM internal speed sensors.
Compatible with all GM transmission models with 7’8" Male threadings, including TH350, TH400, 700r4, 2004r, and more.
