1967-1968 Camaro Dakota Digital VHX Gauges - Black Alloy Gauges with White Lighting and Digital Clock

The Dakota Digital VHX-67C-CAM-K-W updates your vehicle's interior with modern looking gauages. These gauges are super easy to install and mount to your original or factory dash bezel (not included). These gauges come with black alloy dials and white LED illumination which allows them to look great in virtually any interior, regardless of the color. The Dakota Digital VHX-67C-CAM-K-W uses the latest technology and still allows you to keep the stock-location turn signals and you can still retain the stock gear position indicator.

Fully Lit Needles and Backlit Faces w/ 2 Message Centers

The Dakota Digital VHX series gauges feature six analog gauges with fully lit needles featuring white LEDs and backlit, black alloy gauge faces. In addition, there are two highly visible MCD message centers on both the speedometer and the tachometer and a digital clock in the middle.

Calibration

Dakota Digital instruments are programmed and operated by the push of a button. Simply mount the included pushbuttons supplied with your gauges in a convenient and easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count and the fuel level gauge. Once properly configured these same buttons are used to access the wealth of information located in the Digital Message Centers.

Included Sensors
The following sensors are including with the VHX gauge system.
  • Water Temperature - 1/8" NPT, Ground Isolated Sensor w/ 10 ft. Harness
  • Oil Pressure - 1/8" NPT Solid State Sensor w/ 10 ft. Harness
  • Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator - Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness. Sensor requires approximately 5" clearance extending between the cable drive output and any obstruction. Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required.
  • Bushings - ·Each kit comes with 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads.
  • Control Box Dimensions - 5.5" x 3.5" x 1"
Bezel Not Included

The bezel that is shown in the picture is not included. It is shown here for visual/presentation purposes. The Dakota Digital VHX 1973-1987 Chevy truck gauges work with both OEM or reproduction style bezel.

Other Things You May Need

Dakota Digital guagues include the required sensors for oil pressure, water temperatures, and the speedometer. You may not need any additional parts, but consider these below:

GSS-3000: Universal Gear Position Sensor

All Instrument packages contain a gear shift indicator display allowing the transmission gear position (Park, Reverse, etc.) to be shown within the message center. The GSS-3000 accommodates automatic transmissions with 2- 4 forward gears and enjoys a simple and straightforward installation.

DIM-1 Light Dimming Knob

Although Dakota Digital instrument systems are programmable for both day and night intensity levels, the DIM-1 will allow rotary, or on-the-fly brightness adjustment added convenience.

SEN-06-1 - Fuel Level Sensor

Dakota Digital instrument systems are designed to utilize a stock or aftermarket fuel level sensor. If a universal or replacement sensor is desired, the SEN-06-1 is a great choice.

BIM-01-2: ODBII/CAN Interface Module

The BIM-01-2 OBD-II (J1850/CAN) Interface connects directly to the ECM diagnostic port to extract engine and transmission data and supply it to the VFD/ VHX/ HDX/ RTX instrument, making installation a breeze.

BIM-01-2-HLLY: Holley EFI Interface Module

If you have added Holley Terminator, HP, Sniper, or Dominater EFI kit to your vehicle, this module will output a wide variety of info to the VHX-67C-CAM-K-W

BIM-17-2: Compass w/ Outside Temperature Module

The Dakota Digital BIM-17-2 makes it easy to add compass and outside air temperature information to your VFD, VHX, HDX, or RTX instrument system. Readouts are visible in the instrument system's message centers; sending units and mounting hardware included.
