Dakota Digital Cruise Control, Drive by Wire, GM VSS with HND-1

This Cruise Control from Dakota Digital plugs directly into the OEM LS throttle pedal on GM LS drive-by-wire engines for simple installation and reliable operation and connectivity. It features self-learning calibration, requiring no DIP switches or charts to follow.

The CRC-2000 obtains information from an included diagnostic connector and throttle pedal connections, allowing for a simple installation with drive-by-wire GM CAN bus applications. This system is perfect for applications using all matched OEM drivetrain control compartments. Package includes Dakota Digital handle/switch type #1 (pictured), and all that is required are inputs for power, ground, and a connection to an existing brake light switch. An output is also provided for a cruise-on indicator.

It features a discrete VSS input (fixed 4,000 PPM, if a 4,000 PPM signal is not present, your application may require the use of an SGI-5E), which remains usable even when a diagnostic connector is unavailable. The CRC-2000 is flexible and is perfectly suited to cases in which mixed LS-based OEM and specific aftermarket powertrain control components are in use.

Note: This is NOT considered a universal cruise control package, and as such, proper operation can only be expected with the LS-based applications listed above. ECM software updates or speed calibrations affecting pedal specifications may prevent this product from functioning correctly.
