Horn loaded marine tower speakers are designed for volume and distance. The horn tweeters are the same style of tweeters that are used in large, public address style speakers that you see in arena's, at concerts, or anywhere else where volume and distance are important. That technology has been scaled down and is used in tower speakers. There are three main uses for horn loaded tower speakers.
