JL Audio CP100LG-TW1-2 10 Inch TW1 Loaded Enclosure

The JL Audio CP110LG-TW1-2 is a ported enclosure that comes with a 10" TW1 subwoofer pre-installed with a single, 2 ohm voice coil. The TW1 subwoofers are newer, lower profile versions of the W1 subwoofer and handle 300 watts RMS. The TW1 has minimal front-end protrusion and the enclosure comes with a speaker grille, pre-installed. The TW1 subwoofer handle 300 watts RMS and will surprise you with it's output. JL uses their concentric cone technology to mount the speaker motor closer to the front of the basket. This helps deliver full size output from a smaller, low-profile subwoofer. The ported enclosure is going to give you louder, boomier output than the sealed version of this package, CS110LG-TW1-2-JD250-1. The ported is also larger as it needs the extra enclosure room for the port, and by design, ported boxes are usually larger than sealed boxes.

The JD250/1 amplifier is both affordable and powerful. The amplifier puts out 250 watts RMS at 2 ohms, making it a perfect match for the 10-inch TW1 subwoofer. The JD250/1 uses JL's NexD switching technology, accepts both high and low level inputs, and it comes with LED clipping indicators to ensure that you set your gains at the perfect level.

This package is a great step-up option if you want a loaded enclosure, but you want something better than a W0. Also, the W0 enclosure is big and bulky. If the W0 is too big for your vehicle, you can get the output of a ported enclosure while taking up significantly less space with the TW1. The JD250/1 amplifier is affordable and a perfect match when you look at the power handling of the subwoofer and the power output of the amp. If you want to step up to the JD500/1 or RD500/1, you can get more power from those amplifiers, but you will have the make sure you do not turn the gain all the way up. If you do turn the gain all the way up, you will blow the subwoofer.
