The 10W7AE-3 commemorates the 10 year anniversary of the JL Audio W7 3 Ohm 10-inch subwoofer series. These subwoofers feature a polypropylene cone with trademarked "W-Cone" technology developed specifically for the W7 series, paired with a polyester foam surround. The 10W7AE-3 brings serious performance to the table by combining the breakthrough of the long-excursion W7 design with a 10-inch bore. It has been called "addictive," "seductive" and "the new subwoofer reference", by some of the world's toughest reviewers, and has earned these accolades by delivering nearly limitless dynamics, exceptional balance and world-class sound quality.
For the JL Audio fan, the Anniversary Edition includes several unique features over the original W7 release including:
The 8W7AE-3 model comes in a single, 3 ohm voice coil. We recommend powering the 10W7AE-3 with a 1000 watt JL Audio amplifier. If you are only running 1 subwoofer, be sure to look at the amplifier output at 3 ohms, not just the number that the amp is rated at when completing your setup.
The 10W7AE-3 10" subwoofer is optimized to operate in a compact 0.875 cubic feet (24.78 liter) sealed enclosure, or a 1.00 cubic feet (28.32 liter) ported enclosure.
Simply put, this is the baddest 10 inch subwoofer in the world. It handles so much power for an 10, it goes so low, and it is so accurate. If you want a W7 but you don't have a ton of space, this is the answer.
The 10W7AE-3 model comes in a single, 3 ohm voice coil. We recommend powering the 10W7AE-3 with any of the following amplifiers:
If you are only running 1 subwoofer, be sure to look at the amplifier output at 3 ohms, not just the number that the amp is rated at when completing your setup. Also, if you select an amplifier that puts out more than 500 watts RMS, make sure you set your gains properly so that you do not over power, overheat, and blow your subwoofer.Copyright © 2024 ClassicCarStereos.com
