Description
The JL Audio VX600/6i amplifier is a fantastic amplifier for powering a set of 3-way components or a system with a large number of speakers. JL Audio has really taken their amps to the next level with their VX line as it features their latest in Class D technology while also offering the full customization of a signal processor. This amp will provide you with 75 watts of RMS power across 6 channesl at 4 ohms, 100 watts per channel at 2 ohms, and it can be bridged for 200 watts across 3 channels. The amplifier includes a power connector for 2 AWG wire, an analog input/pre-out harnes, two speaker output harnesses and a 6 foot A/B USB cable.
DSP Control
The DSP on board the amplifier is controlled using JL Audio's TüN™ Software Application. TüN™ is available for free and can be downloaded on most phones, tablets or PC and will allow you to setup and tune your amplifier easily by simply plugging your device into the amp via the USB, or you can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth with the VXi-BTC bluetooth communicator module.
Signal Processing
The JL Audio VXi amps features a triple core, AKM DSP that was developed in collaboration with AKM. This VX600/6i features Hi-res audio processing at 24bit/96kHz and uses high performance AKM analog to digital and digital to analog converters. Each channel has a 10 band fully parametric EQ and there are high-pass and low-pass filters available for each channel with selectable alignments and slopes. Time delay is in .01 millisecond septs, and you can control phase reveral and trim output level in 0.1 db steps.
Technology and Chassis
Using JL Audio's latest NexD2 technology, the amplifier and DSP in one uses DirectFET outputs for ultra efficient, very-low-noiose, high quality output. The chassis itself is extremely small given the power output and technology that is on board. Thee LED JL Audio logo ring illuminates to show amp status and can also be configured to audio preset colors or any other color that you want.
