Kenwood Excelon DDX396 6.2" Double DIN DVD receiver with Bluetooth

The Kenwood eXcelon DDX396 delivers value, performance, and reliability for a double DIN head unit. The DDX396 has a 6.3" screen, Bluetooth built-in, a CD player, 5-volt pre-amp outputs, rear view camera input, and 1 video output. It also has USB, AUX, subwoofer control and pre-out, electronic angle adjustment, and it is SiriusXM Ready (tuner sold separately). This unit has everything you would want in a double DIN radio except for Apple Car Play and Android Auto and it is backed by a 2-year warranty.

The Kenwood DDX396 will connect to your smart phone and allow for convenient control of Spotify and Pandoar. You can make hands-free calls and stream music from your phone. The DDX396 has dual phone connection to easily switch between two different phones if there is more than 1 person in the car, and you can use the Kenwood Remote App and control everything on the radio from your smart phone when connected via Bluetooth.

From a sound quality perspective, this unit has a built-in 13 band equalizier, built-in crossover, and allows for digital time alignment to dial in your sound stage. The built-in amplifier but outs 22 watts RMS to 4 channels. With 5 volt pre-amp outputs, if you add an amplifier, you will get the best possible input signal you can get with RCA jacks.

The disc player will play both CDs and DVDs and the USB port will allow you to plug in a thumb drive with your songs on it. The DDX396 supports WMA, MP3, and FLAC audio formats. If you choose to add a review view camera, the DDX396 has parking guidelines.
