Kicker 8" Comp RT Down Firing Enclosure

The Kicker Comp RT down firing loaded enclosure includes a passive radiator to deliver the output of a ported enclosure, but without the port noise. The Kicker 8" Comp RT subwoofers deliver better bass than you expect from a a low profile 8" subwoofer. The Comp RT 8" sub can handle 300 watts RMS and the down firing design delivers the performance you might expect from a 10" subwoofer. The 48TRTP82 downfiring enclosure uses durable MDF construction and allows you to throw your cargo on top of the box so that you don't lose the storage and cargo capability in the trunk of your vehicle. If you have a truck, the low-profile box will fit underneath the rear seat of most crew cab trucks. The downfiring design delivers superior output and comes pre-wired to a 2 ohm load with spring loaded terminals on the outside of the enclosure.

Kicker CX400.1 400W Mono Amp

The Kicker CX400.1 monoblock amplifier is rated at 300 watts at 2 ohms. The will provide the perfect amount of RMS power for the 8" Comp RT subwoofer. The CX400.1 uses efficient class D technology to deliver plenty of clean power while taking up very little space. The CX400.1 can be mounted horizontally or vertically and is a true, full size amplifier, but very compact. The CX400.1 delivers great power for the money and is one of the best overall values for monoblock subwoofer amplifiers. This amp is a perfect match and you don't need to overthink it.

Amp Wiring Kit + Speaker Wire Included

We include an 8 AWG amp wiring kit and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire with this subwoofer kit. The wire used in both the amp kit and the speaker wire is 100% oxygen free copper. Using oxygen free copper delivers the best power transmission for the money for autmotive electronics. It doesn't make sense to invest in Kicker components, only to go cheap on the wire and starve your amplifier and the subwoofer. Get maximum output with 100% OFC copper wire.
