Kicker CS Series 1960-1963 GMC Truck Complete System Kit

The Kicker CS Series 1960-1963 GMC Truck complete system kit offers really good sound quality at a great value.  The speakers, amplifier, and subwoofer in this kit will allow you to turn your music up and hear it crystal clear, without distortion and the subwoofer will fill in the bottom end that speakers just can't re-produce.  

You have invested serious time, effort, energy, or money into your classic vehicle, why not enjoy driving it even more with a great sounding stereo system.  This complete system kit will allow you to cruise down the highway with the windows down and you will be able to turn your radio up and you will love what you hear.  Adding an amplifier and a subwoofer just makes your classic car stereo sound better!  Your music will sound like the musicians wanted it to and when you turn it up, it sound even better.   The Kicker CS series speakers offer great value and the PEI dome tweeter produces good highs that will pierce through any engine, exhaust, or wind noise, if and when you want them to.  The Kicker CS series dash speaker will mount in your original dash speaker opening and the rear 6x9 speakers can be either top mounted with the grille showing, or bottom mounted from inside the trunk to neatly hide beneath a perforated package tray.  You really can't beat the overall value of this system.

For the amplifier in this kit we offer the Kicker CX  Series, 600 watt 5 channel amp.  This amp puts out 50 watts per channel at 4 ohms and has plenty of power for the speakers.  Technically your radio says it is putting out 50 watts, but that is 50 watts peak, not 50 watts constant like this amp.  The Kicker CX 600 watt 5 channel amp pairs nicely with the Kicker Comp C woofer and can power the Comp RT if you are looking for more output and want to save some space.  The CX 600 watt 5 channel amp has selectable, 2/4/5 channel input so that you can send the sub bass signal to the subwoofer, even if you don't have a subwoofer pre-out on your radio.  For that matter, you really only need to plug a single RCA cable into the amp, but you would lose the ability to fad from front to back at the radio.  The Kicker CX 600.5 accepts both high level and low level inputs so that you can run speaker wire, 10 volt inputs to the amp for the best sound quality possible.  We include RCA cables for low level inputs with this kit.  If you want to use speaker wire, high level inputs, you will need to purchase Kicker speaker wire to RCA adapter cables (P/N KISL Click to View).

For the subwoofer in this 1960-1963 GMC Truck Kicker CS series complete stereo kit we offer 2 different enclsoure options.  The Kicker Comp C is a standard 10" woofer that is wired to a 2 ohm load to maximize the power output from the amp.  The Kicker Comp C comes in a truck style enclosure in order to save space in your trunk.  It will provide good sub bass response, but it is not going to be over the top.  The 10" Kicker CompRT is a really nice subwoofer and provides full sized sub bass response in a low-profile enclosure to help you save space.  It comes with a passive radiator to help increase the bass response.  With it's great bass response and low profile design, the Kicker 10" CompRT is just an overall, great sub enclosure.
