This kit will allow you to play in stereo from your single dash speaker location and includes a pair of 6x9's that you can mount in the rear package tray. The Kicker CS series 6x9 speakers are very efficient and designed to play well when powered directly off of the radio or with an external amplifier. An external amplifier will always sound better as your speaker will be louder, cleaner, and clearer than just the radio. The front speakers can handle 30 watts of continuous power and 90 watts of peak power. The rear 3-way 6x9 speakers are can handle up to 150 watts of continuous power. We include 25 feet of 16 AWG speaker wire so that you can hook everything up. Kicker is one of the most trusted names in the car audio industry and we feel that this is one of the best dash speaker and 6x9 packages that you can put in your vehicle if you are just running speakers off of the radio.

Why Don't You Offer this Kit with KS Speakers?
We recommend using the Kicker KS speaker with an amplifier. We have tested the KS against the CS speakers when powered directly by the radio, and the CS speakers sound better than the KS speakers when not using an amp. Now, if you are using an external amplifier, the KS speaker will sound better than the CS. The CS will still sound better when powered by an amplifier versus just the radio, but the KS really shine with the additional power. The difference in the two speakers is the cone material, the cone weight, and the tweeter material. The KS cone is a different material and it is thicker and therefore heavier. The analogy the Kicker trainer uses is to imagine a Cadillac and a Honda Civic. Both vehicles have a dead battery in your drive way. You have to push one inside the garage by yourself, which car would be easier to push? The Civic is the CS series speakers, the Cadillac is the KS series speakers
