Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII 6.5" Component Speakers 2 Ways

The Morel Maximo Ultra 6.5" 2-way component speakers have a separate tweeter and woofer to provide a better sound stage and place the highs closer to the listener's ear. These 6.5" speakers deliver the performance and sound quality you expect from Morel, but they require less power and they are at a more affordable price point. These are actually my favorite speakers from Morel and I like the sound of these over the more expensive Tempo series because I like my music bright, with crisp, clear highs.

These Maximo Ultra 602 MKI speakers sound really nice thanks to the specially treat paper cone and computer modeled suspension which ensures linear output for great mid-range response without distortion. The tweeter on these speakers is a 1" soft-dome tweeter with an external voice coil for increased power handling and lower distortion. If you are looking for a step-up speaker, but you don't want to spend a ton on an amplifier, these 6.5" speakers are the way to go. They can still handle 100 watts RMS which is more than most amplifiers put out yet they are efficient enough to still work off of deck power.

From a performance and specs standpoint, as we stated above, these speakers can handle up to 100W RMS and are very efficient with a sensitivity rating at 90.5dB at 2.83V/1M. These 6.5s are perfect for front speakers, where you have the ability the mount the tweeter in the dash speaker location or you can surface mount it on the A-pillar.

These speakers deliver sound quality and the price point places them nicely between the standard products and the premium products. These offer superior performance, yet they aren't as expensive as the "Premium" priced products. If you want to step up to a hi-fi brand, but the price point of the Tempo Ultra Integra is slightly too much, this is your answer.
