Rockford Fosgate R2SD4-10 Prime R2S 10" Shallow Mount Subwoofer 4 Ohm DVC

The Rockford Fosgate R2SD4-10 is a 10 inch, shallow mount subwoofer with dual 4 ohm voice coils and it handles 200 watts RMS. We recommend the R2 Shallow if you are limited in mounting depth, you still want subwoofers for bass output, but you don't want to spring for the T1 Slim. These subwoofers sound better than you would expect and we recommend these over the Punch P3 shallow subwoofers. The P3 Shallow subwoofers handle more power and cost more money, but they just don't sound as good as these.

The 4 ohm dual voice coil allows you to wire a single subwoofer to a 2 ohm load, or you can wire a pair of these to either a 1 or 4 ohm load, depending on your amplifier.

For amplifiers, we recommend powering a single subwoofer with the R2-250X1 or the P300X1. If you are going to run a pair of these, we recommend the P500X1 if you want to purchase a "better" amplifier, but we'd recommend going with the 2 ohm version, R2SD2-10. You can wire the 2 ohm DVC version to a 2 ohm load and power them with the R2-500X1 and it will be less expensive while still putting out 500 watts at 2 ohms.
