Our Rockford Fosgate 1964-1967 Cutlass Speaker Kick Panels w/ A/C Pair are made from ABS plastic are designed to fit and install just like your originals, but with speakers installed. These Rockford Fosgate 1964-1967 Cutlass Speaker Kick Panels w/ A/C Pair come loaded with Rockford Fosate Punch speakers which provide great sound quality without requiring an amplifier. Like all speakers, they will sound siginificantly better with an amp, but they don't need it as they are pretty efficient. Rockford Fosgate has been in car audio since the 1970's and their Punch speakers feature PEI dome tweeters to give you that signature Rockford sound. The Rockford Fosgate 1964-1967 Cutlass Speaker Kick Panels w/ A/C Pair will play nice and bright, perfect for cutting through engine and wind noise that you may get while cruisin' with the windows down.
We have tested many speakers to find something that will fit in the opening without being too deep while still providing great sound. We feel that these Rockford speakers offer great sound quality and volume without breaking the bank and/or requiring custom modifications to fit. Also, they have some of the best looking speakers with simple, black mesh grilles with a small "Diamond R" Rockford logo.
Add HushMat Wave Breaker pads for even better sound. The HushMat Wave Breakers simply stick to the body behind the kick panel speakers and eliminiate backwave distortion so that you hear 30-40% more of the music that your speakers are producing. The Wave Breakers will give the effect of a sealed enclosure despite an open-air installation. The HushMat Wave Breaker pads come with peel and stick adhesive and require no special tools for simple, easy installation.
