The Rockford Fosgate R2-750X1 is has similar output to the R2-500x1, but the difference is that the R2-750x1 is 1 ohm stable. This allows this amp to be rated at 750 watts RMS instead of 500 watts. The Prime R2-750x1 uses ultra-efficient, Class D circuitry to deliver power without taxing your vehicle's electrial system. At 4 ohms, this amp is rated at 250 watts RMS, and at 2 ohms it puts out, 500 watts RMS, and at 1 ohm, it puts out the full 750 watts.
These amps use Rockford's C.L.E.A.N. technology that gives you a clipping indicator light. This allows you to set your gains to the perfect level to deliver maximum power without distortion. As a result, you get hard-hitting bass that will help ensure the longevity of your subwoofer(s).
The Rockford Fosgate amplifiers use an unregulated power supply to deliver more than their rated power when voltages increase, and the internal Punch EQ corrects for acoustic deficiencies while devliering up to 3x the bass. The R2-750x1 has a variable infrasonic filter between 15-40 Hz to let you fine tune the low frequency output and includes a bass knob for quick, on-the-fly level adjustment.
If you are looking for that signature, Rockford Fosgate power at an affordable price point, the Prime R2 amps are the pefect way to go. We recommend a 4AWG wiring kit for this amplifier.
