Rockford Fosgate Steering Wheel Bluetooth Remote

The Rockford Fosgate PMX-BTUR is a universal Bluetooth remote that is designed to work with your audio system when you are playing music from your phone, either through a connected cable, or via Bluetooth. This Rockford Fosgate bluetooth steering wheel remote allows you to adjust the volume, change songs, play, and pause your music without having to touch the radio or your phone.

The PMX-BTUR is Bluetooth 4.0 Smart Ready and easily pairs with your phone or mobile device with one-button pairing control. The remote has two mounting options included. Two bezels come with the remote. One has a ribbed, rubberized, and radiused bezel to be used along with the velcro strap for steering wheel mounting. This will prevent the remote from sliding down the wheel when turning, etc. The other is a flat, plastic bezel that is desigend to fit comfortable in your hand.

The nice thing with this remote is the versatility. It pairs to your phone. You can keep it in your classic car, boat, UTV, or other vehicle, but if you get out, and you want to use it poolside to change songs without getting out of the pool, it will still work. The remote pairs to your phone, not the device playing the music. When you change songs, it is like you pressed next on your phone, not next on the radio.  This allows you to use the same remote for multiple Bluetooth audio devices, as long as you are using the same phone.

The Rockford Fosgate Bluetooth steering wheel remote operates on a single CR2032 battery.  The device has a 2 year standby time with the CR2032.  Obviously, the more you use it, the faster the battery will drain.  There is an LED indicator that will light up red when the battery is low.
