Our Rockford Fosgate 2 12" T1S2-12 & T750x1br Subwoofer Package a pair of rockford Fosgate T1S2-12, 12" T1 Slim subwoofers along with the Rockford Fosgate monoblock amplifier, a 4 AWG amp wiring kit, and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire.
The Rockford Fosgate T1 Slim subwoofers are one of the few low-profile, thin subwoofers that actually gives you full sized performance. These woofers can handle 600 watts RMS and deliver the output you expect from a 600 watt subwoofer. While these aren't necessarily the least expensive subwoofers out there, you get what you pay for with the T1S2-12. These subwoofers have single 2 ohm voice coils.
With this subwoofer kit, we give you several different options for your amplifier. All of the amplifier options will provide enough power to move the two 12" subwoofers. The two full-size options, the R2-1200X1 and the P1000X1bd would be our first two choices. If you are limited on space, the T750X1bd is a really nice, really compact amplifier, but it isn't going to have the same amount of output. The T750X1bd is an application specific amplifier for those limited on space, that want to get maximum power in a very tight space.
The most affordable option is the R2-1200X1. This amplifier puts out 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm. The dynamic rating at 1 ohm is 1389 watts which represents real-world, listening to music situations. The R2-1200X1 comes with Rockford Fosgate's CLEAN setup to optimize your gains without distortion. The CLEAN setup is an LED clipping indicator that will tell you when you get a clipped input signal from your radio and when you get a clipped output signal from the amplifier. When using the test tones to determine the gain settings, this helps ensure you don't get a clipped signal and that your amplifier and subwoofers last longer and sound better.
Our go-to Rockford Fosgate amplifier for this application is the the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000X1bd. This amplifier uses class D circuitry to put out over 1000 watts RMS at 1 ohm and has a dynamic rating of 1430 watts at 1 ohm. This amplifier is a workhorse and uses class BD circuitry for maximum output and efficiency. The P1000X1bd comes with Rockford's CLEAN setup as well. Compared to the R2-1200X1, the P1000X1bd is more efficient, has better thermal management, and uses better internal components.
The last amplifier options is the T750X1bd. This amplifier is incredible, but it doesn't have the output of the other two. The T750X1bd puts out 750W x 1 RMS @ 1 ohm and has a dynamic rating of 990W x 1 @ 1 ohm. This little amp will still provide plenty of power for the T1S2-12 subwoofers, but not to the same extent as the R2-1200X1 or the P1000X1bd. If you are limited with space, this is the way to go. If you have room, the R2-1200X1 or the P1000X1bd are going to be better options.
The wire everything we include a 4 AWG and wiring kit with an RCA cable and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire. The wire used in both the amp kit and the speaker wire is 100% OFC copper to deliver maximum output from both your amplifier and the subwoofers.
In order to get the maximum output from your amplifier, you will want to wire the subwoofers in parallel to a 1 ohm load. Please see the diagram below for instructions on wiring the subwoofers.
