The Rockford Fosgate X317MAX-RSS adds an additional subwoofer under each rear seat in your Can-Am X3 MAX. The additional subs are perfect if you love bass and are looking for more output from your Rockford Fosgate Can Am X3 stereo system. In an outdoor, open air environment, getting hard-hitting bass output is more difficult than inside a standard vehicle. Your Can-Am X3 doesn't have sealed doors or windows to provide the cabin boost that cars, trucks, and SUVs have. If you want maximum bass output without turning your 4-seater into a 2-seater and you want a clean OEM-quality installation, the Rockford Fosgate X317MAX-RSS is the optimal solution.

Two 10 Inch Subwoofers

The X317MAX-RSS includes two loaded enclosures with 10 inch M2 subowofers, pre-installed. Each M2 subwoofer can handle 400 watts RMS. The subwoofers are loaded in down-firing enclosures that fit neatly underneath each rear seat. The down-firing design maxmizes output without sacrificing cabin space. The enclosures are designed as a left and a right and they include a channel that allows you to safely route the brake lines without the subwoofer or the enclosure interfering.

The M2 subwoofers are the same subwoofers that are included in the X317-STG5 and X317-STG6 kits. If you have an X317-STG4 or STG3, you can still use these subwoofers. You will end up with more power and more bass from the rear subwoofer vs. the single subowofer in the front, but it still solves the problem and gives you more bass output.

1000 Watt Powersports Monoblock Amplifier

This package includes the Rockford Fosgate M5-1000X1 mono amplifer. The M5-1000X1 puts out 900 watts at 2 ohms and is perfect for powering the two subwoofers. This amplifier is compact and comes from the same product line as the amps that are used to power the rest of the 3rd generation, Can-Am X3 stage kits. The amplifier install underneath the pocket in the center console, between the two rear seats. The bracket is included as all as an additional push pin that is used to secure the bottom of the bracket. Just like the amplifiers in the rest of the Rockford Fosgate UTV kits, the M5-1000X1 has the preset switches for gain and crossover control. You don't have to worry about setting your gains or crossovers correctly. Instead, set the presets to on and you are ready to go.

Vehicle Specific Plug-and-Play Harness

Like all Rockford Fosgate UTV stereo kits, the X317MAX-RSS comes with a plug and play harness. All connections are pre-terminated so that you don't have to cut, splice, crimp, or solder. The harness that is included in this kit has a "Y" connection for the RCAs at the back of the radio. This allows you to still use the subwoofer signal off of the PMX head unit for both this amplifier and the amplifier used to power the front subwoofer(s). For the remote wire, there is a separate spade connector that allows you to also use the remote turn on wire off of your head unit with both this amplifier and the amplifier for the rest of your system. The entire harness runs through the center console of your X3 and then branches out to the rear seats in the back.
