Our Stinger 6.5", marine grade speaker package includes 2 pairs of speakers, the option to add an amplifier, and the option to add a hea unit. This package is perfect for upgrading or replacing the speakers in your boat and getting great value at a great price point. These speakers will work well off of deck power and can still handle the power of a decent amplifier. The Stinger 6.5" speakers are rated at 75W RMS/150 Peak and feature true marine grade construction. These speakers are UV tested, salt and fog testing and come with precision, non-corrosive terminals for a solid connection. If you are looking for true marine grade speakers that will actually sound good, without breaking the bank, and you don't want junk, these Stinger speakers are a great choice.
Amplifier Options
We offer several differant amplifier options.
The JL Audio MX280/4 is a true marine grade amp that comes in a super small, compact chassis and offers 50 watts of true RMS power. It is a little power house of an amp that is perfectly designed to power 4 speakers in stereo at 4 ohms
The Rockford Fosgate M400-4D is a full-size, class D, marine grade amplifier that will put out plenty of power for these speakers. It is a good match for these speakers as it will also output 50 watts of true, RMS power.
Finally we have the Stinger SPX700X4. This amp will power these speakers perfectly and is 2 ohm stable. You can easily use this amplifier to power the 4 speakers off of the front channel, and bridge the rear channel to power a subwoofer for a cost-effective, great sounding stereo system in your boat.
Head Unit Options
DIN
We offer three different options for a DIN size, marine grade head unit. All three are made by Kenwood, one of the most trusted names in car and marine audio. All three head units are basically the same, the more expensive ones just have more features such as a CD mechanism and Sirius XM capability (tuner sold separately).
Rockford PMX
We offer two different PMX, marine grade head units from Rockford. The PMX-3 has all of the features of the PMX-2 but is Sirius XM ready and offers the ability to hook up a camera. Both PMX units feature AM/FM/WB, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, and Pandora built in. They both have subwoofer control if you wish to add a subwoofer and they feature a multi-color 2.7" LCD screen.
Kicker KMC2
The Kicker KMC2 is a gauge style head unit with AM/FM and 25 watts of constant, RMS deck power for 4 speakers. It is marine grade and features a backlit, LCD display. It has USB and AUX inputs in the rear and has Bluetooth built in.
