Sizes
The JL Audio W6 series comes in a 10" and 12" model. The JL Audio W7 series also comes in both a 10" and 12" model, but additionally adds a smaller 8" model in its lineup for more versatility.
Voice Coils
The JL Audio W6 series features a dual 4-ohm coil for both the 10" and 12" models. The JL Audio W7 series comes with a unique 3-ohm single voice coil in all 3 sized models.
Power Handling
The JL Audio 10" and 12" models in the JL Audio W6 series have the same RMS power handling at 600 watts. Comparatively, The JL Audio 8", 10", and 12" models in the W7 series both have RMS power handling at 500, 750, and 1000 watts RMS respectively between the different sizes.
