The 12W7AE-3 commemorates the 10 year anniversary of the JL Audio W7 3 Ohm 12-inch subwoofer series. These subwoofers feature a polypropylene cone with trademarked "W-Cone" technology developed specifically for the W7 series, paired with a polyester foam surround. The 12W7AE-3 brings serious performance to the table by combining the breakthrough of the long-excursion W7 design with a 12-inch bore. The 12W7AE-3 12" subwoofer is optimized to operate in a compact 1.375 cubic feet (38.94 liter) sealed enclosure, or a 1.75 cubic feet (49.56 liter) ported enclosure.

The 12W7AE-3 model comes in a single, 3 ohm voice coil. We recommend powering the 12W7AE-3 with any of the following amplifiers:
